anyone see Matt Freeman practice yet?

He has the outside game, but I hope he can develop drive moves and inside shots aka. G Niang.
He also has to improve his D

that made me laugh...considering our def lapses lately...sorry :facepalm

If he isnt a back to the basket player, get rid of him. Its not working now and never will...! See GSW prime example. Small ball sucks.

wow? jumping off the bandwagon? or having a bad day?

Lon is working with the players he has. Every year is different. The one thing that stays the same is LON….that means NCAA run EVERY year for us.

Didn't fool me, I knew that's what you were doing. ;)

To answer the OP's question, Freeman has the potential to be the very definition of a stretch four. He has good handles for a guy his size, plus he can post up smaller players or move out beyond the arc and knock down threes. I was told by someone I trust that our coaches expect him to really help us next season.

I would love to see him at the high post getting some of the looks that Spangler gets from the 3-point line. That should open up some inside driving lanes for our wings.

Now if can only rebound like Spangler does.........
