  • Under .500 in conference play since Capel arrived
  • Losing record without Blake Griffin
  • 9 straight conference losses (with games at Baylor and at Texas coming)
  • 3 out of 5 years with no post-season at all
  • Under Capel, OU loses by double digits every 3.6 games
  • The worst seasons for OU basketball in decades
  • OU will not be favored in any conference game this year, except perhaps Tech at home

These are things I have gathered from around the board in different threads... Are these all accurate? If so, my goodness.

Using facts and logic on mor does not work. You can bet your posting privileges lol It is always irritating to me whenever someone uses facts and logic to make their point.

Just remember, folks: if you are not pleased with the direction of the program that means that you're not an OU basketball fan.

no , Oklahoma has missed the post season twice. They may miss this year but that is not certain.

It's about as certain as it gets. This team isnt going to the NIT or NCAA, lol.

And you didn't attend the university. And you're not a pick-up basketball legend.

I really have no idea why you keep talking about that stuff every time I post. I graduated from OU....what's your point?

He is making fun of bocabull, who claims people who went to OU are better fans.

I am surprised you do not believe in miracles. I never thought 5-6 would look so good. If Joe is not careful he will become the Donnie Duncan of OU basketball. How hard can it be!!! Even Vermont had a little guard that could knock it down from half court. He made his coach famous and got him a job on ESPN.

Not trying to insult you. I'm merely reposting some of the nonsense that other users have posted to insult those that aren't happy with the current state of the program. In short, I was agreeing with your statement and adding to it.

All sad, but true. If those facts don't drive a change with the head coach then the OU administration is saying they don't care about basketball.

How any fan in their right mind could defend a coach after these stats is rediculous (unless you are Nebraska maybe)

This isn't true, and is quite frankly, ridiculous.

I have to agree... No action here basically says they dont care about the basketball program.
