may end up telling the tale on where OU lands in the postseason. The good news is that OU has proven they can play with anyone. The not so good news is that they continue to show an inability to close out games when the game is tight and/or leading late. The next four games are all "winnable" before the SEC challenge game with Bama:
I believe we need to go no worse than 2-2 in this stretch and may need to go 3-1 to really position ourselves as a viable tournament team. As mentioned above, these are all winnable games, but they could just as easily be lost as well. If I had to rank games in the likelihood of winning, it would be:
Baylor
WV
@OSU
@TCU
- WV - they are 0-3 and play 0-3 Baylor tonight; almost won at K-State earlier, but KU gave them a beatdown at home on Saturday.
- @OSU - may end up being our most winnable road game left. They are near elite on defense, but struggle mightily shooting the ball.
- Baylor - others including me have commented that they are noticeably down from previous years, but they still have talent. Specifically, they are the worst defense in the conference by a good margin.
- @TCU - very similiar to us in conference with all games going down to the wire. They are 2-1 and playing @Texas tonight. They could easily be 3-0 or 0-3.
