Arizona St. scored 9 first half points @ Utah

well... if the were playing at asu karsten then they would have the best score ever

Arizona st started out the year not being a very good team nearly losing to lehigh at home..once conference play started I thought along with USC they were the worst PAC 12 team..however they righted themselves somewhat including a win over UA...but the bottom of that PAC 12 is a wasteland with ASU, WSU, an incredibly underachieving husky squad (whose problems started well before upshaw was dismissed..in fact right after the OU game when they lost to Stony Brook at home and a lethally bad USC team..

In 02-03 we beat mizzou in the B12 tourn 49-47. I think we only scored about 10 points in the 2nd half. We were up by about 20 at half and went on a scoring drought only KS could be proud of. I remember it well. We were in Vegas and a buddy had a rather large wager on OU. To see that "winner" slip away was tough!

So I guess it "happens"!

Funny you should bring that game up, because it's this weeks' classic game on Fox today.

I was at that game. Might have been ugly, but still a Big 12 Tourney Championship!

We led in that game 46-24 and won 49-47. Unbelievable.

Yeah, but that was one pretty trophy. :)

BTW, the Tubbs microphone game ('89 Mizzou) is next week.

For the youngsters on the board it's much more than the microphone game. That was when Norm went to hospital and missed the game due to what he would find out was cancer. OU was fresh off the FF and MU had Smith, Coward, Church, and a freshman named Peeler. MU got up early and OU came back and it was back and forth and up and down. The average possession was around ten seconds. It was an exceptional basketball game. Plus you have Rags going nuts on the call.
