I agree, Syb--you want your bigs to hit at least 50% from the field. Kinda like the #1 BU post Kalani Brown, who was 4-6 from the field and 9-9 from the stripe, and #2 post Bea Mompremier, 5-8. Depending on the situation or chemistry, Lauren Cox, along with Kadijah Cave is the #3 post option for BU. BTW, Cox started out 4-6, then like the entire BU squad, botched a bunch of shots after Baylor surged ahead of OSU by 42. Had BU maintained their fire, this game could have been much uglier
And surely, Syb, you don't consider Davis just a garbage player. Those basketball professionals who voted her an All American in her soph and jr years considered much more than that. As for her minutes this year, please see above. KM has more weapons to deploy than ever before. Davis has sat in on several past game pressers and her go-to message is something like this: I'm thrilled to see my teammates succeeding and this team dominating opponents. We have our sights set on championships. ... So, no, Sweets, there's nothing to suggest she is inMkwy's doghouse.
Sweets, not sure what you mean about Kim's potty mouth. I saw one utterance of "Hell" in a transcipt... not sure that qualifies as reprobation. I hear college coaches say that word every week, but perhaps ,
female coaches are expected to be more ladylike...
But enough about BU-- Sherri and the Sooners face a huge test tomorrow at WV. Winning there is always a tall order, but if OU can earn a W it should have HUGE implications for the rest of the season.
