The two teams combined to shoot 27% from the field for the game. Notre Dame was 1-20 from three (Cal wasn't much better at 6-21), and they shot 37 free throws (Cal shot just 9).
I can't think of an uglier stat line than this game.
Yea i saw that and had to rewind the DVR a couple of times to make sure i read it right...that is just crazy...
Our expectations at OU are such that we expect to be a ranked team that contends...there are clearly other schools that would give anything to be where our program is, even this year...cant coach tradition or history, and thank goodness OU has that...
The last time I saw a team score that few points in a half was when Texas A&M came to Norman Blake's freshman year. That A&M team was ranked in the top 10 preseason and the score was like 26-10 at halftime. That was the Deandre Jordan A&M team.
I remember people in the stands saying that was some kind of record for fewest pts in a half at the time. Maybe just the Big 12 record.
