Why would we be the laughingstock of the country for hiring a legendary coach who built the greatest dynasty since Wooden? Just because he coaches women? You do realize he's a man, right? It's not like we'd be hiring a female coach, or a rowing coach or something.

I would be ecstatic if we hired Geno. I can't even imagine caring about the potential childish responses by the adolescent fans of opposing teams. They'd stop laughing once we started hanging banners.

Pitino did alright with a woman as an assistant at Kentucky, I don't see why a man who used to coach women couldn't have an opportunity to be successful.
