From various recruiting guys I follow on twitter.

Off to a good start for Athletes First is 13 G Jordan Woodward and 13 wing Juwan Parker
Brian Snow, scout

Athlete's First has 8th grader Alonzo Trier playing up on the 17's. Dude would win ANY Phil Pressey look-a-like contest.
Eric Bossi, rivals

2015 guard Alonzo Trier is a kid to keep your eye on down the line...very comfortable playing with the 17s on Athletes First.
Jeff Borzello, cbs

Athletes First up 33-27 at half. Shocking stat of the game, Stevie Clark has ZERO shot attempts
Brian Snow, scout

2013 OK wing scorer Juwan Parker is saying hello to the world. Impressive looking prospect.
Eric Bossi, rivals

Back 2 back trey balls from Jordan Woodward, stud....
Brian Snow, scout

Athletes First has been in control, but Team Final making a run.. 55-52 A-Forst w 5:07 to go

I think that the staff needs to be at the Woodward house offering both the boys scholarships and at Parker house as soon as they can given rules.

Woodward kids and family are OU fans/supporters, so lets make sure they know that we want them. btw, their sister goes to OU currently...

Roster:

J Woodard- Ed Memorial 2012
M Onoha- Ed Santa Fe 2012
M Christiansen - Mcguinness 2012
J Edmonds - Mcguinness 2012
S Clarke- Douglass 2013
J Woodard- Ed Memorial 2013
J Parker- Booker T 2013
S Morris- Ed Santa Fe 2013
A Trier- 2015

I heard earlier today that Shaq Morris was in Vegas this weekend with the Compton Magic.

Thanks for the updates, guys!

Athletes First appears to have several players with future star potential on their roster this year. I'm sure LK and his staff will be all over these kiids when the time is right.

Who is AF's coach now? OU friend or foe?

2013 PG Jordan Woodard doing a nice job for Athlete's First. Clever and tough. AF playing as much as a team as anybody here.
Eric Bossi - Rivals

Jarnell Stokes& Shaq Godwin are way more talented than the Athlete's First bigs. Yet, AF guys currently giving them the business on O glass.

I wonder if AF brought Phabian Glasco out of Booker T with them in place of Shaq. He's an little undersized at 6'6 but I like his motor.

I do not know who the AF head coach of the 17s is this year.

I'm fairly sure B.J. Lawson is the guy in charge of the 16s.

Coach is Gary Vick. Don't know him personally but no reason to think he has any negative feelings toward O.U. AF has had a few players go to OU (Griffens Neal and C Davis) a few leave for better offers (Duke, Kentucky, Kansas) and a few recently who left for lesser or equivalent programs because they didn't get OU offers (Spangler to O.U., Fields to TCU, possibly Richardson to Tennessee). The issue isn't AF coaches --its OU's coaches. I'm not sure any of the current AF roster has a firm offer from O.U.

Don't forget Bookout and Alexander as well from AF. That was the first powerhouse AF team and probably their best ever.

It sounds like Clark has an offer from OU and Parker may have one soon. I'd be interested to hear someone compare Clark and Woodard. I wonder if OU would take both or who they would take if they could only take one.

From Bossi's Rivals' write up
Athlete's First has a nice brother combo in 2013 point guard Jordan Woodard and 2012 shooting guard James Woodard. At six-foot tall and strong, Jordan is a guy who gets into the lane and the southpaw can score as well. James has a little more bounce and better size at around 6-foot-3

Also playing well for Athlete's First was 6-foot-8 junior power forward Matt Christiansen. A kid who understands what his team needs from him, Christiansen battled on the glass and scored when given opportunities. His approach and willingness to do dirty work will be appreciated by college coaches this summer.

There's reservations about mentioning an 8th grader and creating unfair expectations, but point guard Alonzo Trier has really held his own on the 17 and under level for Athlete's First. He's a very good shooter, and didn't look at all out of place

Stephen Clark is right where I left him in december: stroking 3s

Also Jerami Grant (Harvey's son) doesn't play for Athletes First but since he appears to be one of the new staff's top targets here is some stuff on him.

Easily the most aggressive I've ever seen Jerami Grant. Really attacking the defense and getting physical if need be.
Eric Bossi, Rivals

Jerami Grant needs to bottle up this weekend and replicate it. Been a good weekend for him.
