This was definitely me about 20-25 years ago. I had goals on both ends of the room though (one had a Bulls backboard and the other an OU backboard).

I also had the free throw line and 3-point line taped up on the floor. Yes, total geek.

Who else?

I grew up poor LOL. I made rims out of clothes-hangers and hung them over the door with the hook tucked behind, used a tennis ball. I had some epic games in my room, even made an OU logo on paper and taped it to the floor. Yes, we were that broke!

I gotta say that when all you have to play with is a tennis ball you become a pretty good dribbler. Unfortunately, all of that practice paid off so much that by the 8th grade I was a wrestler.

My kids dont know how good they have it!

I did the exact same thing except I used the orange mesh sacks we bought oranges in as a net, because as you know, when you are shooting at hangars it can be hard to see if the ball went through.

:woot First off I like that no matter what the kid's shirt is always tucked in. But I was definitely doing stuff like this 20 years ago. It drove my mom nuts. Anytime I had an extra $5 i would buy a nerf hoop and just wear it out. If my wife would let me I would probably do it today.

Nerf hoop in the front hallway - wide court - and one in my bedroom - narrow and long court. Definately had to put a different arc on those than my normal driveway shots.

I did some MEAN play-by-play for my one-on-none basketball games!

I thought this thread would be a description of the current state of OU Basketball.

I watched the video again. Did anyone else notice that he talks to the camera like he knows there will be a youtube in the future?
