I'm learning from watching this game that we don't want either of these teams. Just looking at Jackson and Jones for Baylor is scary enough, let alone everyone else. KState looks better every time I see them play. Good guard play and tough azz bigs.

KSU up four with four to play.

75-73 Baylor. KSU had a last chance but didn't get a shot off.

Frank Martin may have just given the angriest post game on court interview ever.

classy for KSU players and coaches to join the prayer after the game. I know that is tough to do when you lose in such a gut wrenching fashion. Lot of respect for them doing that.

KSU carved up that zone pretty easily. Good adjustment by Drew to go man to man. Great college game. Reminded me of the one in Waco when Pullen ripped the Bears heart out.

Watching this one was depressing. Osby is the only player we have who could crack the rotation for either one of these teams.

He was a total jerk. Stan Weber's got a heck of a lot more patience that me.

I thought it topped Pelini at the half of his bowl game. That's the way Martin is. Probably if you ask a KSU fan that isn't in his top five. I'm sure this is going to be a few days of hell in practice. At least he's up front. When he's recruiting kids he has their folks come to practice and observe so there are no surprises.

link? all i saw was what they showed on sportscenter which was the one line about defense

This is the post game one with Stan Weber. Local radio has been playing his halftime one also(not as angry but not a happy time either) and they were ahead at the time.

Would pay money to have been in that locker room postgame...epic lashing.

Meh. I think sideline reporters get exactly what they deserve. If you're going to interview coaches right after a tough loss, don't expect a deep, insightful response. Martin's was nothing compared to my favorite of all time, Michigan State's John L. Smith in 2005:

College coaches are hired to win games AND represent their universities. Being an ass is not a good representation. I respect the intensity, but have the sense to know you're on national TV.

Smith was pissed but he didn't have that serial killer look in his eyes. I think it's a big mistake to stick a mic in their face basically during the heat of battle. How long before a coach totally flips out over one of those dumbass questions that Holly or Erin throws out there? Speaking of that, anyone else catch Holly elbowing that other reporter out of the way after the Michigan game?

I did. Just imagine if it had been a male reporter pushing aside a female reporter. It would have gotten even more attention. Honestly, I doubt she did anything different than any other reporter. I am sure she has been brused aside many times in her career. I suspect it is simply part of the job.

True, I just don't know if I've ever seen that. The other reporter had the recorder out and there's Holly with the shove. It didn't help that they were using an overhead shot right above her.

I agree with you. That's why I believe Bob Stoops should be more accomodating when intervewed by reporters. Sure, it's an intrusion in his valuable time. But as much money as he makes, the least he could do is to answer a few questions, minus the abrupt, borderline rudeness we have grown accustomed to over the years.

I know my comments will not be received well by everyone here. I'm simply saying what a lot of fans feel, but for whatever reason keep quiet about it. JMHO. Flame away if you want.

That is right. But, I've always had the feeling that most coaches think that most reporters are idiots.

I'm inclined to agree with those coaches.

Still, when an OU representative behaves like that on a national stage with millions of people watching, it's a poor reflection on the university as a whole. I'm not saying he has to kiss up and pretend to be someone he's not. But giving polite responses to a reporter's questions are not that difficult. If the reporter is not treating Bob with respect, that's another story. I have yet to see that, though. Male, female, it doesn't matter. He does it with everyone.

baylor's zones are trash. why does baylor persist in playing it? they have guys that can defend man.

if they are going to zone, the 1-3-1 is better than the 2-3.
