Bench Play

We didn't get much production there today. Latin and Walker were the only ones to play more than a couple minutes. Is Lon trying to shorten his bench? Only 7 deep?

Booker would have played a lot more against the zone today if we were 100%. DJ was the only one that was curious to me, thought he would've had more minutes with Spangler's (bogus) foul trouble.

We will need Lattin and DJ to play well on Monday. Texas is long and athletic.

Losing buford was a big blow IMO. Walker is fine and we know booker when healthy is a good backup. We need to see more from lattin and Bennett.

I didn't think any of our bench provided much against Baylor.

I don't think Kruger wants a short bench. He uses the reserves against weaker teams a lot but their minutes shrink big time against a tough opponent.

He has typically used a 9 and even a 10 man rotation but we are a long way from that now.

They didn't stand out but they did allow the starters to get rest and keep Spangler off the court due to f I up trouble. I thought they did an adequate job.

There's definitely a drop off when we go to our bench but as long as we can get the starters some rest and not have the bench hurt us, we'll be ok.
