Nice seeing the late OSU and UCLA runs he basically single handedly went on. Sometimes he could get inefficient, but a nice reminder that he could heat up at the right moment in big games and get us 8 straight points when trailing or tied late. Hopefully he will be even more capable next year.

Also enjoyed that the athletic department said screw it, it wasn't a foul, and did the put back dunk as the first play with the stupid ref in the background blowing his whistle haha. I was so mad at that at the time, luckily it was in a game that didn't matter.

Even if Buddy had decided not to come back next season, he would have left OU fans with a lot of great memories. The block at the end of the Dayton game was one of the best for me. He could have sulked and given up on that play, but that's not the way Buddy Love is wired. His determination to get better and to make a legitimate run at the Final Four is sure to give fans more good memories at the end of what should be a another exciting season of OU basketball.

Buddy will be remembered by Sooner fans just like players like Hollis Price and Eduardo Najera are remembered as much for their infectious personality and enthusiasm as their play on the court. We're lucky he chose to be a Sooner.

I was fortunate enough to meet him last summer with my wife and 2 of our grandsons. He couldn't have been any nicer or gracious, so I'm a Buddy fan for life.
