What do you think OUs record will be in big 12 play? I have us 9-9 with road wins at TCU and Tech and home losses to Kansas and OSU.

I guess I could have put less than 7-11 as an option because even 7-11 would be a 2 game improvement from last year. But the Big 12 is so weak this year I figured nobody would think we would be worse than 7-11 at this point.

TCU is horrible. Tech is bad. West Virginia has been bad so far. Texas will be bad if they dont get their guys back. We could win 7 games against those 4 teams alone. Then pull out a game against KSU and ISU and there's 9 wins right there.

Check out the numbers on the big 12 website such as team FG shooting. There are some horrible numbers right now in the big 12. Lots of teams shooting in the 30% range. yuck!

There will be a lot of games similar to what we have seen in the non-conference .... winnable games that are decided in the last 4-5 minutes of the game. The OU team this year seems to have a knack for pulling these games out.

If this team can make free throws in close games, I like their chances.

20-10 (10-8 in conference).

If we took this poll today, it would far less positive. See my other thread regarding days after games.

I had 9-9 but after the West Virginia road win, 10-8 is looking very doable

I don't remember what I picked, but I'm not going to let one game change my opinion too much.

IF OU has a chance to win an additional game or two over what I thought, I think it has more to do with the league being down, or having no dominant teams, then OU being better than I think they are. Outside of KU, there are no for sure top 15-20 teams in this league. OSU and Baylor are probably next, but both are beatable. I really believe that. In fact, I'll be a little disappointed if OU doesn't beat OSU next Saturday, or at least give them a heck of a game.

The key to OU's Big 12 record is going to be the bad teams. We really, really need to take care of business against TCU, TT, and WVU. That can easily be 6 wins if we show up and take care of business. At that point, we only have to find a way to win 4 other games to get to 10 in the conference. I think we can win 4 other games.
