If everyone stays healthy, I am looking at a 13-5 record. We should sweep both Kansas schools, Texas Tech, and TCU. I am looking at a split with the other 5 schools. That would give us the 13-5. I know we will probably lose to one of the 4 I have us sweeping and maybe sweeping one of those I have us splitting with. What does everyone think?

You are probably close. There is a possibility a teàm like Baylor, Texas, or ISU could sweep us but your projection looks very realistic to me.

I don't think ISU will be a prob this year.

From a post on the HoopScoop board posted a week ago ...

"Iowa State backup post Maddy Baier is out for the season with an ACL tear suffered in Sunday's game.

ISU was already thin at post and is now even thinner: after Christofferson, ISU only has Fallon Ellis (undersized PF at 5-11) and Jordan Jensen, a 6-2 freshman who still isn't at full speed following her own ACL tear her senior year of high school. Christofferson and Jensen are ISU's only healthy 6-footers now.

ISU has been playing a lot of 4-guard offense (with 5-11 Brynn Williamson and/or 5-10 Seanna Johnson playing the 4) and I imagine that'll be the case even more often now."

On the other hand, they still have Christofferson, and we don't have anyone who matches up well with her (but then who in the Big 12 does).

I think with a little luck 14-4 is not unrealistic, but I would agree 13-5 would be a good pick.
