Re: Big 12 Quarterfinals Thread
Mizzou talking about a false sense of reality....right.
Mizzou talking about a false sense of reality....right.
And the other day I heard the announcers say that Texas had three recruits coming in that are 6'10". Jeez. I wonder if that includes the tall one that's in street clothes? They're going to be a handful if that's true.
"I just hate their fans. I hate them. Their fans kind of have a false sense of reality about what Kansas basketball is. It's not Kentucky. It's not UCLA."
We've got a ball game so far. Baylor up 19-18 with just over 10 left in the half.
Sic 'em Bears!
What channel is this on? The on screen guide says ESPNU but it's not on ESPNU has the SEC in Tulsa.
It's on whatever station normally runs the Big 12 Network games in your area. In OKC, it's on KOCB.
I just finished a 30 minute search for the Big XII tournament Semi-Finals broadcast. Were I passionate about one of the teams playing in these games, this email would be considerably more strident.
I finally found the games, which my Cox Program Guide said should be in HD on ESPNU, on RTV, Channel 131 and not in HD. The upper right corner of the screen has your logo or I would have no idea who to complain to. I can only imagine how infuriated the Kansas, Baylor, Texas and Missouri fans who live in the area must feel. If you are going to hijack broadcasts that should be in HD on ESPNU, you should ad least make sure that the program guide reflects the change.
I don't know how the ins and outs of how decisions were made that moved this programming to a backwater non-hd station. I just know that it was an incredibly stupid decision. I would tell you that you have lost a viewer, but that wouldn't be true. Over the years, I have quit watching almost everything on network TV. Reality shows are pablum for people with 2 digit IDs and the local news tries too hard to be tabloid TV.
You can go back to not serving your viewers now.
Kansas and their officials taking over.
