This OU/OSU matchup next has really become a BIG game for both teams. Just a couple weeks ago most of us would have said OU doesn't have a chance but things have definitely changed. As I type this OSU is leading on Mizzou AT home exactly where we play them next. Even after OU's hot streak of 4 wins in a row AND the completely overhauled defense that has emerged at OU, I just don't think I can chalk this one up in the win column. Of course I felt exactly the same way about the Baylor game so what do I know.

Maybe :vitale can make it out for this one! :ez-laugh:

I'm not sure if I'll pick us but I think this might be our best chance of a win the next couple of weeks and I also think we match up well against them because we might actually have more talent.

I agree. If OSU loses this game at home they could very easily finish 5-11 and miss the NIT/NCAA. If they win, they are back on track.

If OU loses they have 3 tough ones coming up and could follow a 4-game win streak with a 4-game losing streak. If we win I'M GUNNA LOSE MY FREAKIN MIND!!! :)

Both the OU and OSU wins are hard to figure out. Did both teams just give a supreme team effort against supposedly more talented teams? Or did the travel difficulties for both Mizzou and Baylor take too much out of them?

Guess we'll know as the season plays out.

One last thought. Austin Johnson, no matter what you guys thought of him he always played like an All American against OSU. Seems like he was always hitting a barrage of 3 pointers. Glad to see him gone.:woot

any sooner fan that hated austin johnson is a sooner fan that prolly hates cade davis right now.

Page usually has played very good games against OU. I expect him to have a good one on Saturday.

He's played really well against OU in Stillwater and in the Big 12 tournament.

In those 4 games in his career, he's averaged 19.8 points.

In the two games he's played in Norman, he's averaged 4.5 points.

His last two games against OU (in Stillwater and the Big 12 tourney last year), he scored 25 and 24 points, respectively.

Don't celebrate it too much as he had Ray Willis guarding him in one of those games. oSuJeff97 could put up at least 12 on GammaRay.

I think the most hillarious/annoying to OSU fans way OU could win this is if Fitz gets into foul trouble and then T Neal comes in and hits five threes.

If that makes you feel better...

Half of those games were against a top 5 OU team in 2008-09... he scored 15 points in the game in Stillwater and then again in the win in the Big 12 tournament.

So whatever excuse you want to make for it, Page has played really well against OU when the games haven't been in Norman. I expect he'll have a good game again on Saturday.

Easy killer. You are wound up tighter than the man in your avatar, Travis "Effing Idiot" Ford.

Speaking of the above, I bet Obi doesn't get Travie any Christmas presents.

whatever man

I'm certainly not expecting to win, but a win this Saturday would certainly give Capel a nice feather in his cap. Nothing can cure some ills like winning a bedlam basketball game on the other teams home court.

Don't want to venture on Favorite/Underdog when two mediocre teams play, but in Bedlam history being favored has not always meant a lot.

I didn't look up the line but I would think OSU is favored by about 5 points due to home court.
