This week, we may find if a Big Twelve team can beat a top twenty team on the road. All of the losses seem to come (excluding Kansas) on the road. OU is at Kentucky, and Texas is at Connecticut this week.

As of Sunday evening, RealTImeRPI has OU at #5. It helps when a team that you beat badly beats Purdue in West Lafayette (SIU). It also doesn't hurt that BYU went on the road and beat Tulsa.

We are a bit dis-spirited after losing to Kentucky and Oral Roberts. Imagine the disappointment at Texas. I think they thought they could compete with the big boys this year. Instead:

I suspect that they thought they would win three of the four. S. Carolina just lost to Duke, diminishing their luster a bit.
