At some point, the coaches have to drill into these guys' heads that high-risk passes are not acceptable. If the guy is not wide open, keep your dribble alive. Our guys seem to think they can pull off high-risk passes, and they simply cannot, as they've shown all season long.
If we're not greatly improved in this aspect of the game next year -- and I mean GREATLY improved -- I'm not sure I'll survive the season.
Excellent point. So many times we have guys making very high risk passes that had basically no chance of succeeding. Tanner is a good passing big but he thinks he is a GREAT passing big and tried to make at least a couple passes a game he has no business making. Then we have guards throwing skip passes that probably wouldn’t even work against an athletic high school team.
The frustrating part is that for all the (rightful) talk about our lack of talent, our biggest and most consistent undoing is something that is not a talent issue. There are a lot of teams with minimal talent that take great care of the ball. This is by far Moser’s biggest failure this season.
