Kentucky. Four of their top six players are freshman............... (including Orton). Man, no college experience, no NCAA tourney experience. They are a one seed, and real contender to win it all.

Quite a difference between their freshman and ours.....................

They've got 2 things we don't. They can defend and they have a system.

What system? Cal's been there one year? I wouldn't call his offense a very intricate "system". Do you mean tradition? Or do you mean boosters that fill envelopes with cash?

He's pressing and pushing the ball up and down the court a lot.

there are only about 20 or so elite recruits every year who are great athletes and can score...and the top few are uber-elites who are superb at it. UK has the best recruits money can buy and that's their angle.

They also have Patrick Patterson, a solid upper classman. Also, John Wall may be the best player in the country.

It's not their system it's their players. Coach Cal's presence certainly plays a part but it's moreso his ability to motivate these kids vs any sort of system thing. Still though the kids have to be coach-able. See Chapel Hill and Norman for examples of kids that are not very coach-able.

You guys do realize Patterson, Wall, and Cousins are going pro this year right?

Those guys going pro won't affect Kentucky. A top program always rebounds and in fact gets better after they lose first round draft picks and POY's.

I fixed it for myself. Sorry if it didn't come through the first time.
