For those of you who are RPI nerds and NCAA seed junkies like myself, I thought I would leave you a link to a site that constantly updates NCAA seeds. It gives us a decent indication of where we stand as of now.

Currently, most projections have us around a 10/11 seed. In order for us to continue to strengthen our seed, it looks like we need the following to happen:

- finish above .500 in conference while avoiding any losses to Tech, TCU or our final game with WV.
- hope that SF Austin wins their league and that they remain a top 100 RPI team.
- hope that Arkansas finishes well in the SEC and remains in the top 100 of the RPI

Currently, it's just a snapshot, but we appear to be on the inside right now.:woot

I think the WVU and the Ohio wins could give our RPI a boost before the season is over. Both teams have the talent to be a lot better than they have shown so far. A Huggins coached team usually improves as the season progresses. I have a feeling we'll see a much different team when the Eers visit Norman later on.

Ohio returned all eight players from a team that gave UNC all they wanted in the NCAA tourney last year. Their slow start is likely the product of the players struggling to adjust to a new head coach. If the players and their coach find a way to get on the same page, the Bobcats should win the MAC.
