Just heard Byron Scott may be interested in the OU job. Anybody else heard anything about this or can find out anything? I'm sure this is probably just a nonfactual rumor.

That rumor was started as a joke. You can trace it's origins to the twitter account of the lost ogle

I must say, I've thought about this. At first, I was in the "no way" group, but keep in mind, he's gone on record many a time about his love for OKC.

I'm not sure it's realistic, but the thought has grown on me a bit.

I checked the Cavs board I frequent to see if this rumor has cropped up on their end and I saw nothing. Obviously doesn't mean there is no truth to it, but I haven't found anything connecting the two other than this. I do know that Scott has been publicly critical of the effort of his players and seems to be having trouble keeping the Cavs from giving up. The only reason I could believe has any merit at all is that he seemed to like Oklahoma while he was here. That being said I think this rumor isn't even smoke, heck, it isn't even air. This rumor is a vacuum as far as I can tell.
