I don't think Kobe said he wouldn't play for him, he just made it known he would prefer another coach. The young Buss owner has made it clear he respects Kobe, but will not include Kobe in any management decisions. This could be another show of authority........

If they keep D'Antoni, it's only for another season until they make their big moves in free agency after next season.
