I will say this.... they have 5 true freshman in their rotation and some other first year players.

Watch out for the freshman group of Zach Smith, Justin Gray, Keenan Evans, and Norense Odiase in the next year or two. Gray was very promising this year until he got hurt, and Zach Smith has been impressive as well.

Their best player and leading scorer, Devaughntah Williams, will be back as well.

To ABD's credit,

This isn't your older brother's Big 12. Tech with Tubby and their current roster would probably be a 6-8 team in the old Big 12 with a solid NIT stamp.

I agree. They've got some very nice players, IMO. Tubby will have them out of the cellar in another 2 or 3 years. If he can land one big time diamond the rough, he might be able to have a couple teams like Knight had down there.

Right but even their better guards only have 1 year experience. Williams is a first year player and Turner is a second year player.

They should be significantly better next year.
