Random Baylor fan's take on some of the Big 12 players in an open gym setting (Cam stuff included):

Lincoln HS open gym today report - big 12 and other players scrimmaging



LB Nash osu
Cameron Clark ou
Thomas Gibson k st
Antwan Space fl st
Jared Shaw osu but apparently to Utah St which I wasn't aware of until today

Ballislife was filming.

Gibson is your typical k st player - just a physical beast. He looks big 12 ready physically. Dont know about skill level but he's got the physical ability to defend now.

LB wasn't trying too hard. I got there an hour after they started so they were kinda tired. He's also physically ready.

Antwan space was one of the most underrated players nationally IMO. He has the size/athleticism/skill combo to be an excellent college player.

I never really saw shaw at Carter and he barely played at osu. Looked a little aqward and I'm guessing he was pushed out at osu thus the Utah St transfer. Still looks like he could get there bc of frame...well see if he develops.

Cam Clark. Was really solid at ou as frosh but LB and Gibson looked more impressive than Clark IMO. I think he'll be a very solid player for ou but never a star. Hes certainly talented and a solid big 12 player though w good size and skill.

I've been saying that since he signed with OU. Maybe, MAYBE by the time he is a senior he might qualify as a star, but I doubt before then, and honestly, I doubt even then. I don't want to bash the kid, b/c he is a solid player, I just don't think he has what it takes to stand out.
