I don't wanna hear the "oh, he's a freshman" thing. REALLY talented freshman at least show glimpses of the player they can be. Cam has literally shown nothing.

Tyler Neal (a freshman), Carl Blair (mid-major player), and Calvin Newell (a freshman) all average more points than Cameron Clark on a team that he starts for and plays about 30 minutes per game for. He could shoot whenever he wants for this team.

5 points, 4 rebounds per game.

Maui Tournament
3 points vs Chaminade (DII team)
0 points vs Virginia (worst team in ACC)
6 points in 36 minutes vs Kentucky

something else. There is no reason he shouldn't be hustling more. Looks like the guys from last year. Hell, with his length and jumping ability, hustle would give him 5-6 points a game.

Outside of Jeff Capel this has been the biggest mystery to me. So far, Cameron has not even come close to looking like a top 40 recruit that he was graded out to be. I know he is a freshman but if you are this highly rated coming out of high school you should be producing a heck of a lot more than he has so far(Did he even score today??????).I know it's way, way, way, way too early to tell but as of right now it's looking like a fourth straight whiff on a high profile recruit for Capel.

I don't think he's being aggressive enough. Maybe he's not comfortable in the offense?

I can't call him a bust this early but he doesn't seem to play with much emotion yet. It seems as if he's coasting along. He should be getting 10 ppg easily.

What offense? You mean the, "jesus christ I hope I hit this three" offense? Yea, I bet he feels like **** running that offense.

He's a freshman. Run some curls for him and let him excel at what he does bet...draining midrange Js.

6 games in and we are questioning if he is a bust. Really? He missed all of summer workouts, give him time.

I agree; I think he might just be timid ATTM. If he still isn't producing much by game 18 or so then I'll be pretty worried.

If you think it's completely nonsensical to be questioning whether someone is a bust 6 games into their freshman year, your instincts are impeccible. If he's playing like this 6 games into his sophomore year, then it's time to start wondering. Until then, let the guy develop. Do you remember guys like Eduardo Najera and Hollis Price? They weren't exactly setting the world on fire their first 6 collegiate games, either. Actually, neither became an "impact" player prior to their junior season. You can add Stacey King and Ryan Minor as well.

That's four of the 10-12 greatest OU hoops players EVER, and none of them were better than "solid" (King was barely "average") going into their junior season. I don't think we need to put a fork in Cameron Clark just yet.

There were people on here saying Blake Griffin was nothing more than an athlete and not a basketball player during his first year at OU. Slow down with all the freaking crybaby BS and enjoy Thanksgiving. Start the *****ing again on Monday.

i haven't seen clark this year, but an aau coach i talked to a few months back really liked him. he thought he was one of the more underrated freshmen to be.

sometimes it just takes a while.

The "bust" terminology being thrown around is laughable. This is on Capel, but I believe after the Maui experience, there will be more plays/screens being thrown Clark's way. As awful as the the last three days were, there really isn't any time to adjust any offensive strategies. Think you're going to see him a lot more involved in the offense.

As for Clark, he needs to hit the glass on his own. No excuse for him to have that few rebounds over the past five games.

Blake Griffin made Cam Clark look like a middle schooler. Get real??
