Cameron Clark: Bust? Not ready? Something else?

Blake Griffin made Cam Clark look like a middle schooler. Get real??

That's not the point. The point is people were crapping on Blake about certain things when he first got here as a freshman too, and those people turned out to be mind-blowing wrong. He was still learning and improving, they all are at 6 games. Not even Blake was a ready-made all star at this level 6 games in. No one said Cam = Blake. But for people to demand an answer right now whether Cam is a bust or not ready are mentally challenged. It takes time for just about everyone to develop. I don't get that he hasn't shown ANYTHING though, pretty sure he had a double double his 1st game ever. Ho hum.

Jerry doesn't strike me as a guy who sees the brighter side of things. Hope you are having a good Thanksgiving, old jerr.

Cam will be fine. I have seen some flashes of his potential on both ends. I just think we can all agree that he needs stuff run for him right now because he is too timid to create his own.

It's WAY too early in Cam's career to consider him a bust. So let's abandon that notion before it sprouts wings and makes anyone who thinks that look silly a few weeks from now.

Is he playing like a freshman, perhaps more than any of us imagined possible? The answer to that is, yes. Has his tentative approach on offense and his lack of aggression in rebounding and on defense taken him totally out of his game? Again, the answer to that is a resounding, yes.

Maybe running more offensive plays to get the ball in Cam's hands will help to break him out of the funk he's in. I won't argue that point at all. But he can do a lot to help himself, by trusting his instincts and going with his God-given talent and athleticism. A player with his abilities should be able to score, rebound and defend, even when plays aren't run his way.

There were people on here saying Blake Griffin was nothing more than an athlete and not a basketball player during his first year at OU. Slow down with all the freaking crybaby BS and enjoy Thanksgiving. Start the *****ing again on Monday.

I posted the exact same thing in another thread. There were posters roasting Blake in his frosh yr. Posters questioned his heart/desire, no post game, bad attitude, etc.... Heck they said the same about Stacy King until he just completely went nuts and became a star overnight. Casual fans I guess......:facepalm
