Can We Just Hire Terry Evans Already?

If we going to settle for a Wichita State type of hire, I would be all about Terry Evans. But to be honest, I just don't think it will work. The coaches in the Big 12 are much better now than they used to be. It would be too easy for competing coaches to negative recruit Terry by just calling him that D2 guy and how OU doesn't care about basketball.

Would that be untrue and unfair, you betcha. But it would happen.

I like Terry Evans,too. If we're going to take a chance on a coach,at least take a chance with a guy that bleeds Crimson and Cream.
