This whole market thing only worked during the era of radio broadcasts. Gee, imagine how big a star Lebron would be if he wasn't in Cleveland. Imagine if Yao Ming were on the Pacific coast, then the Chinese would really follow him. Stars are stars no matter where they are.

To a degree you are correct but if Brett Favre won a Super Bowl with the Jets as opposed to with GB his drama would be even worse(yea thats possible)
