If you want to show emotional fans at games, stick to college age and older.

No doubt. They showed that poor kid 5/6 times. Kid will probably have hell to pay when he gets back to school. No shame in the kid crying. Been there done that with OU. It's part of being passionate for your team and being competitive. It hurts at any age but as a kid you don't have near the perspective as an adult.

Agree. I don't like to see the shots of little kids crying. It does not provide any value and, as a parent, I would not like them putting my kid in the spotlight when he or she has not asked to be.

You know that will go with him for the rest of his life, especially if he plays high school sports. Other teams' students will feed off that, which is sad on CBS' part.

I think that it is unanimous. Terribly poor decision by CBS, the fans of all fanbases should let CBS have an earful over that!

I tried to find a way to contact them on their webpage but the only thing I found was a link to make a comment about their webpage.

Blame parents that let kids build thier life's around sports team and base thier self worth on thier performance

Kids get caught up in stuff. As a little kid I started bawling when the Oilers ahd the biggest collapse in NFL history to the Bills. I didn't even watch football during the season, had probably never watched a full NFL game. I just decided I was rooting for the Oilers before the game started, and completely lost it when they fell apart. My dad still gives me crap about it to this day. Glad it wasn't caught on national television.

The last time I shed a tear for any sport was in the closing moments of the Florida national championship game in football. And it was one tear, like the native american....for the trash I had just witnessed.

Huh? It was a kid watching a basketball game. Every kid has a right to grow up and learn along the way. I played little league with a kid who cried every time he stroke out. Later, he became a pretty darn good college baseball player.

I blame adults at CBS.

That was just a little bit of awesome leaking out. :)

Boo hoo. Pick a better team to cheer for. I'm all for showing any KU fan suffering yet another early exit.

Define a better team.....My first college football game was the 1998 Alamo Bowl. My grandpa, a KSU Alumni and ex football player bought me a ticket for the game. Well, in case you forgot, Drew Brees led Purdue down the field and won the game in the final minutes, I was that crying child and HATED Purdue for a solid decade. You cannot blame the kid for wanting his team, even if it be KU, to win and be successful.

Children just show more raw emotions than Adults, who sadly are used to the pains of a loss like that. I applaud that kid for caring enough about a sport/team that it occurred. I do not applaud a station for showing that kid multiple times in those final minutes
