Raney and PC are on TV tonight against Midwest City. I believe it's an 8:45 tip-off. Trey Payne for PC is also an impressive prospect. He's a sophomore.

About to head down to the Mabee Center for this game, wish PC West had made it so I could get another look at Neal though.

just got to the arena going to be a late tip as the girls game's 4th quarter just started

The girls game just ended, so this probably won't start for another 30 minutes or so.

This Xavier McClish kid from Midwest City looks pretty damn good. Is he a junior or senior?

Dom Raney is so quick and smooth. And I think he can definitely play the point.

Putnam city up 22-15 with five mins to go in the quarter.

issue with dom at the point is he seems like a gunner and he will need to work on sharing the ball. He has done well so far in this game passing but it needs to become more consistent. Will be interesting to see if he gets some chances to run point in high school next year

Putnam ended up winning the game as the whole 4th quarter was similar to the ending of a Big Monday Big East Game.

Dom played a lot similar to the last time I saw him, jumper not falling but still a quick first step, good handles and the ability to finish in traffic. I like his athletic ability and finishing but both times I've seen him I really question his jumper. Maybe he is just having bad days but it seems like he needs some work.

I really think his meal ticket is going to be as a point guard unless he grows a couple inches or his jump shot improves (of course both will be perfect). Hard to say if he will end up a Sooner or at a high level school based on what little I've seen of him, but I think this summer will be key for him.

One thing I've think we've learned this year is that it's alot easier for guys who have the neccessary D1 athleticism to transition into guys that can make the neccessary shots to play on a high major level than it is to have guys who don't have the atleticism, but do have the shooting ability.

Also, I haven't saw a PCO game this year, but their is alot to be said about shot selection. If he 's taking different types of shots from different areas it makes you more of a streaky shooter. In college basketball, the off guards generally shoot from the wings and corners and the pgs shoot from the top of the key. If Raney dominates the ball for PCO, he's shooting from wherever he likes and isn't going to get consistency, IE Andrea Riley to a lesser extent. One thing I feel strongly about Raney is he definetely is a D1 prospect and to me a must get for OU. Kid already has an offer from Ostate and has interest being shown from Georgetown, Notre Dame, and Syracuse. I trust him more on the court than Pledger and Willis and I like Pledger alot.
