Yikes. What is wrong with this asshole? He has some serious issues.

He’s gonna get fired. Drinking not good if you have a problem.

I've heard it is more than that and this behavior started before he landed in Austin. Still hearsay so I won't drop the information, but even if it is the drinking issue that has been whispered about for years, I hope he gets help.

And of course, I hope his victim is okay.

Guys like Beard have a way of avoiding what they deserve.

I’ll paint the picture for you. He spends a night in jail, then apologizes for making an ass of himself, says he was drunk. The person he was choking refuses to press charges. The university is embarrassed by his behavior, but in a grand show of humility, all is forgiven and their head coach will remain in charge of the top five ranked team he built. He might be suspended for a game or two, but even that is not a certainty.

Am I close to what you think will happen?

Sounds like a big ‘ol bingo to me.

It will get reduced to a misdemeanor. He’s rich.

Yep, with the top 5 ranking, his $$$, and the influence of the BMDs at The 40 Acres, I can see that his fiance somehow refuses to file continue with the complaint and will not cooperate or testify. The result is he goes on a short LOA from the bench to undergo "counseling" for his "issues" and he will return in time for the grind of the conference season.

Wouldn't be right or what should happen, but I can see it happening for sure.

I thought he was a POS before and this only solidifies my observation. A shocking happening, but not surprising.

People who have family who are TT alums say behavior like this was known in Lubbock. It will be interesting to see if more information comes out of Lubbock.
