I expect a good game.

Nuggets were getting good looks in the first game but couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. They actually outscored the Clips in the 4th by 5 (shooting well over 50%) - but this was after Vinny shut down the first unit.

Denver getting to actually play Denver is almost a novelty this season ... since 22 out of their first 32 games were on the road - a RIDICULOUS schedule. But Denver is one of the few teams who the Clips can't just out-athlete across the board and if their shots fall they are very dangerous.

It will be interesting to see if LA can keep up their winning streak and, even more, the tightness this group is developing amongst one another.

Denver tough at home, just one of those nights for the Clippers. Happens in the NBA.

At least they didn't lose at home to the Bobcats. :(

Just one of those nights? ok, whatever.

Uhh, yea. One of those nights where they didn't play well over an 82 game season with the Lake show coming in next, and if you don't play well in Denver this happens. I'm not sure what is confusing.

I suspect you don't actually watch these games. Pretty obvious you didn't watch this one. If you did then I apologize but you missed some things.

You can try to chalk this up to "one of those things", but that's rather disingenuous and myopic here. It was NOT a hard call to see a good, hard contest coming here given what happened in the last game between them.

In fact - the way LA played in Denver makes it rather obvious that the team learned little from the last game against Denver. Ty Lawson didn't even play in this game. True, I don't think it was a horrid move that Andre Miller picked up the minutes instead. But Lawson IS their starting point guard and previously averaged 35 mpg.

Denver leads the league in points in the paint because of their running and passing. They were getting many of those same ops in the previous game against LA but quite a few bunnies didn't go down. You figure those type of shooting woes won't be repeated on their home court. So LA must play better defense than they did the previous game. It wasn't even close. Blake played for crap, Caron was not impressive, and neither Jamaal nor Matt came in to bail them out. Hell, for most of the game DJ was the Clips leading scorer. Thats sad.
