Really impressed with his bench coaching tonight. Managed the rotation superbly (especially with all the foul trouble) and worked the refs all night. The announcers were giving him credit working the sidelines, too.

That may end up being a quad 1 win too.

Agreed

Anyone know if the game will archived for streaming anywhere? I've got a friend who never remembers to watch our basketball games until January at the earliest.

He does seem to be doing a better job with his rotations. The starters clearly all need big minutes but he is playing bench guys based on how they are playing instead of being stuck in a pattern. Stuck with Jones longer tonight, cut Dayton’s minutes, although fouls also factored into the rotation tonight. Rogers was solid in his minutes.

He also gave JN a quick hook a couple of times when he chucked up 3’s not in the offensive rhythm.

I think his rotations in the game were the key. I like the 5 he has starting. I like Jones as his 6th man. Dayton in a rotation to spell Pack and Brown, and I am starting to think Rogers may be able to be a 10-15 minutes substitute at the 5 even in the SEC. He is growing on me as a player. Then, as needed, Jeff N and Atak for a few minutes.

Just like against Marquette, it is encouraging to see different kids hit big shots down the stretch in a game. Also, if the worst game we play all year regarding turnovers is 11, we might be pretty good. Turnovers has been a big problem with Moser's teams. This team has some really good "old" players and we seem to really take care of the ball.

And finally, we all hoped that Mo would play this year like he played at the end of last year. Looks like he is and that is good news.

And I have the direct links to the games up on a thread above.

Does anyone know why Atak isn't playing much? I really think he could contribute. Is he hurt?

The only thing he potentially brings is shooting, and he hasn't shot it well enough to offset all his deficiencies. And for a team that has been bad defensively, putting your worst defender on the floor isn't a great recipe for success.

I don't know if he will play much the next two games, but hope Moser plays him a fair amount in the three remaining high school games to at least see if he can improve defensively and maybe get his shot going.

well, he'll undoubtedly transfer after the year if that's the case and he doesn't get the PT he wants. it's sad that these days instead of working to improve in the offseason players just leave.
