I want to apolgize to Tango and Syb. I was wrong about the reporting and investigation surrounding Mulkey and Baylor.
It was reported, first by the Grieners, to a now-defunct group monitoring the recruiting of top 10 prospects and was included -- as a secondary violation.
What Mulkey did was sit, as a parent, next to Mr. Griener at some of the AAU games in which their daughters played together as teammates -- and the two talked about what Griener's experience at Baylor could be.
I will argue -- so what? It's a secondary violation and really wasn't what Baylor punished itself for doing.
As someone who has stood on the sidelines as a parent with Gary Gibbs and his wife, Dewey and Katherine Selmon and others, I know first hand you are going to talk aimlessly about things you have in common or things that interest both of you.
Bad intentioned or not that's going to happen. If Mulkey took advantage of that, so what?
With D-1 offers that reportedly both have to OU, I suppose none of you think Sherri hasn't had the opportunity to tell Whitney's parents what a benefit it would be for the twins to come to OU.
