If Shake comes to OU, he's not likely to see playing time for one and maybe two whole seasons. IMO if he did, he'd do well to redshirt and work on his point game. He and Christian James both sound interested in the point - combo role and James is ahead of him for rotation minutes based on reps. When Woodard graduates, Strong will either win the job outright and need backups (and possible platooning for defensive matchups), or it's an open contest. The latter scenario plus a huge step forward during a redshirt year would be Shake's best chance.
In truth, I'm not sure OU is a good situation for Shake with all the redundant talent on the wing. He could show us something, but I'd bet more on a Jelon Hornbeak-type outcome.
