I know this doesn't have anything to do with OU, so if a Mod wants to delete then be my guest, but Louisville fans are going to melt down in a couple of hours when Marquise Teague commits to UK over Louisville.

Normally, this isn't a big deal, but Teague's dad played for Pitino at Providence and Pitino hired Teague's AAU or HS coach a few months back.

Should be fun to watch.

Jeff Goodman stated that Lebron James may have persuaded this kid to go the Kentucky way. A very big recruiting coup if you ask me.

I love stuff like this... BUt I hate that he is going to Slimtucky!

I love the way LeBron plays the game, but I'm extremely uncomfortable with how integrated his business interests are becoming with younger NBA level type talents.

I think OU might end up getting Ross now. UK is really filling up and they're still in on a couple kids. Although it sounds like Jones may be going to KU which would suck. I'd rather him take a spot at UK so OU's chances are better with Ross.

are they on the jenny craig diet?

Isn't this like asking someone who lives next to Kilauea in Hawaii if they want to go to Iceland to see a volcano?

oooh, a kilauea reference on ouhoops.com? i knew there was a reason i kept coming back to this place through all these tough times.

so has the eruption on the louisville board started yet?

Haven't looked, but supposedly full melt down has ensued, especially because he wore a red shirt to the announcement.

lol. it's nice reveling in someone else's misery for minute. reading old posts from a few weeks ago, some posters were blasted for questioning if he was going to sign with the ville. it is a source of great amusement and all so, so familiar.

Re: Will Teague wear #30 at the Ville?
He's going to join a number of great former/future and current Cards to come play for Louisville and Rick Pitino, Welcome to the family Marquis!

Signed,
Tyreke Evans
Hasheem Thabeet
Fab Melo
Sebastian Telfair
Amir Johnson
Tobias Harris
Donta Smith
Nolan Smith
Jeremy Tyler
Josh Langford
Justin Martin
Rajon Rondo

Must be nice to have Lebron recruit for you as Cal's buddy WWW works for his agency. I can't see any NCAA violation in it, but leave it to Cal to bend the rules. He's everything wrong with college athletics.

It would be a lot more fun if it were the other way around. No one does college basketball meltdowns better than UK fans.

Cal is a dirty slime plain and simple. A truer match was never made. UK and Cal were made for each other.

Same here... except I'm not a big fan of his on the court, either. I could definitely do without all the dancing and other crap, and although he is immensely talented, I just never really enjoyed watching him play that much.

I was watching their game earlier tonight and he hits a 3 to narrow it to a 2 point lead with just 10 seconds left. A time out was then called. Instead of heading over to the bench to plan what they're going to do on defense, he's more interested in mugging to/talking smack to the crowd. What do you have to prove to some moron in the stands? Do you really need to show up somebody that just bought a ticket to the game? I'll never understand that.
