Last night we slipped into 5th place. OSU will probably lose in Austin tonight but that will not move us up. I expect Texas, Baylor, and UWV will all win to maintain their positions.

We should not be any lower than 5th in the final standings, No higher than 3rd. I expect a 4 vs. 5 matchup in the Big 12 Tourney against OSU or WVU. I do not see the lower 5 jumping into the top 5 in the final standings.

I would agree except anymore I am not sure which team will show up. If last nights team shows up the rest of the season we will be lower than a 5 seed.

Sherri worked hard turning this program into a national power and she deserves a ton of credit for doing so. It's sad watching it slip so far from where it once was. She has some tough choices to make in order to get back to a top 5-10 program.

Only with the most luck imaginable can we finish in 3rd. It is very easy to see how we could finish in 7th or even 8th place. We have a very hard schedule ahead and some of the teams below us have an easier road.

I expect we finish either 9-9 or 10-8. It could be like last year where we finish in a 3 or 4 way tie for 5th or even 6th.

Anything is possible but it is probably wishful thinking to even dream of 3rd place.
