OU is obviously in a good position to make the post season again. All we have to do is to win most if not all of our remaining home games and the road games we're picked to win. It wouldn't hurt to steal one or two road games where we'll play the underdog role. But I'm feeling really good about another trip to the big dance right now. I didn't think I would be saying that before the season got underway.

We're probably in the post season if we finish above .500, which means we'd only need to win a couple more games. And if we win all our home games and the road games we're picked to win (TTU and TCU), we'll be a 5 seed or so in the NCAA tournament, not just in the post season.

Agree. We are making the tournament. We want a good seed in the tourney!

I'm not really worried about making the post season. I was just pointing out that OU is in great shape unless the team falls apart at the seams in the next few weeks.

I have said all along that a minimum of five teams from the Big 12 would get in. Now, I believe it will be at least six. As you said, if we finish above .500 and in the top five (maybe six) in the standings, we're in for sure.

Anything can happen, of course. But I feel very good about where we are right now. That's something most of us would not have said before the season started.
