- Lateral quickness of Steven Pledger out on the wing. He is going to have to be noticeably better than last year.

- Carl Blair's jumpshot. Im curious to see if he can knock it down when he has some space and how quickly he can get his shot off. Have heard rumblings that he may have a slow release.

- Nick Thompson's leadership. Hope to see him barking out orders to his teammmates and showing good huddle command during FTs and TOs. We need him to be the guy that Capel and the rest of the squad has been talking about.

has Pledger lost any weight? He looked a little heavy and slow last year.

Around 20 pounds would be my guess, every time I have seen him since last season ended he has looked a lot slimmer. Will be interesting to see how much the lost weight makes a difference in his game.

I agree on all three. I actually want to see that Nick can produce on both ends as well. We will need it. As far as Blair goes, I expect that he'll have a similar game as Bobby Maze, but I'm hoping that he is a better shooter.

Hopefully he can dribble with his left hand.

Mostly interested in seeing what Clark, Newell, Taylor, Neal and Ahmed look like. Don't expect, but would love to see, something out of this year's team, but I would like to see that we have recruited a foundation for the future.

Hopefully, the freshman show us something to look forward to in the future. Of course, I would love to see that they are good enough to win with this year.

I am looking to see where are rebounding is going to come from. I think we will need to rebound as a group this season and Cade will have to continue to be a plus rebounding wing. Also, I think we need a post player to establish himself as the guy who can get the big rebound. Otherwise, I think everything else listed in this thread is important (except Maze's left handed dexterity).
