Well, Trump has chosen his path. He isn't going to offer unity at all, which he hasn't done this whole time. He is going with conflict. Will be interesting to see how this plays out, but he continues to lose supporters. The Lincoln Project, Republicans for Biden, and other conservative groups are doing a number on him. I was watching an interview with Brian Williams on NBC, and he was telling James Carville that the conservative groups against Trump are doing far better campaign ads than the democrats, in terms of effectiveness.

It really was the most insanely divisive speech I've ever heard, but what was striking was the delivery. He delivered it in a slurring monotone of mispronounced words he could barely read from TelePrompter. He sounded like my car's Navigation got drunk. He really looked and sounded like a defeated person.

He's getting more desperate.... he's backed into a corner. His rhetoric continues to get worse.

Think about this.... the President of the United States is attacking Nascar for banning confederate flags. Confederate........ Flags. It's 2020.

Whether it's re-tweeting videos of people chanting "white power!", attacking people who attack the Confederacy, claiming our only black President wasn't legitimate because he started a lie that he is from Africa, calling something the "Kung Flu", calling white supremacists "very fine people", or calling out a black guy in his crowd and saying "look at my African American over here!".... The dude is a ****ing racist and it's time you guys stop this charade that he isn't....

I mean, a mob of white guys with AR's were literally inside the Michigan state capitol, directly outside the governors office.... WITH RIFLES, tactical gear, face coverings, etc.... Because they were protesting Covid-19 response.

He called them "very good people"....

NBC actually did a good piece on this... He doesn't actually say it directly. There is always some plausible deniability. It's not that different than George Wallace and southern politicians from back in the day. They can't say it directly, but you get hints, winks, etc. This isn't some new tactic.

Let's keep our heads here. There are a lot of southerners that are not racist that display the conferedate flag. There are many that are. But to many, it is a sign of their history and heritage. Yea, they showed up to the Governors office with tactical rifles, face coverings, etc as a show of force for something they didn't like. That's not how we protest in this country. The underlying threat of lethal violence is not civilized. It's what cowards do. It's what idiots do. We talk about things, debate, vote, etc. If those guys were black, face coverings, rifles, etc showing up in a state capitol building, they'd probably be dead or arrested.

When James Lankford does something I don't like, I call his office, or write him an email. What I don't do is show up to his office with an assault rifle, face coverings, tactical gear, etc and try to pressure him with the underlying threat of lethal force to see things my way. And, to his credit, he emails me back.

My head is on.... I know what he is. I know exactly what we are dealing with in Donald Trump. And I am going to do my part to make sure he loses in November. Even if that means just supporting The Lincoln Project and other causes that know the right thing is to remove him, even if he's a member of your party, I will support that.

You can't subject the black population to the confederate flag. It's not their heritage. You can't fly the Nazi flag in Germany because its hateful and disgusting. If you want to display a confederate flag in your home, go for it. But it can't be part of the government in form of state flags, state symbols, and Nascar absolutely made the right move banning it from their events. Nascar is about racing cars, not celebrating Confederate heritage. It represents slavery, period. That was largely the point of the Confederacy, was to keep slavery.

Get it out of our society at large, put them in museums, put in private homes, and lets move on. We don't need to forget it, but we don't need to honor it. You lost the war, its over, get over it.

So no proof that they are bad guys? What they did wasn't illegal was it? What they did is better than the BLM protests and actually destroying property and doing actual violence. He's racist and sexist and cruel and has displayed these traits numerous times on national TV. I've watched it. He questions the intelligence of every black woman who crosses anything he says, treats women like objects, and has displayed zero compassion for people suffering from even the most horrendous of circumstances.
