If Trump wins I’ll definitely be disappointed. Not for my political beliefs, but just my disappointment in our country to elect him in the first place, see him perform terribly, & elect him again.

Hey, don't tell anyone! We are still in the planning stages. I will tell you though, at our last meeting your name did come up. You were on a list to be sent to the Berkley re-education camp, led by Bill Ayers and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. But, I pulled some strings for you! Are you sitting down? I got you reassigned to be Ilhan Omar's pool boy! Isn't that great! This position has some real perks. As long as you submit to the Muslim/Socialist prayer every morning (I got you exempted from the other 4 prayers my friend!) and keep that pool crystal-clear and free of debris, you will be allowed to drive Ms. Omar's Subaru Outback (the only SUV allowed in the new Marxo-Socialist States of Guevara) to Whole Foods once a week when you are getting ingredients to prepare her organic free-range Vegan meals. I negotiated and got you a nice room in the pool house. Sorry, no guns allowed, although if you point your finger at people and say "pew pew pew" in your head you will probably get away with it. You won't be paid a salary but all workers share in the collective wealth, isn't that amazing!?!

I favor masks so everyone has a better chance of survival. I stay home to facilitate letting this body live a bit longer. But I am more than ready to die. Have been for years. You, otoh, act like a frightened child huddled in the corner hiding from the boogeyman.

There is the economic left and the social left.... both have been around for a very long time, and aren't going anywhere regardless of who wins this election.

Socialism, Democratic Socialism, Democracy, etc aren't going anywhere. If November 3rd is won by Trump, they will just keep going and try to influence the hearts and minds until the next election.

What you apparently believe is that if Biden wins all of these things will come to the forefront, which isn't true, and that if Trump wins, it will be defeated, which also isn't true. This is shown in your own words, that if Biden wins, "the left is coming for you", lol. Which is just absolutely absurd nonsense. It reminds me of a friend I have, whose parents were so scared of a liberal democrat coming into power in 2008 that they moved into a partially underground bunker in Locust Grove, OK and stocked up on canned foods, water, guns, ammo, etc... Then their fears were confirmed, Obama became President, and they lived in their bunker, but those socialist revolution of men and women kissing each other in the streets, Soviet-style communism being implemented, etc never happened so they were just a couple of fools who bought into this kind of nonsense and lived in a bunker in locust grove for no reason.

The Democratic Party rejected Bernie again, which represents the economic left. Joe Biden doesn't represent the economic left or the social left, despite campaign shifts to appease the progressive wing of the party, but Biden doesn't really support those things. He is a moderate. That's why he got along so well with Republicans for so long, is because he is a centrist. At worst (for you), he is center left.

While those idiots hid in their bunker from a black democrat, here is what a Democrat actually accomplished:

  • Won the Nobel Peace Prize
  • Brought unemployment from 10% to 4.7% in his first 6 years
  • Put the US on the track to energy independence
  • Began process for normalizing relations with Cuba
  • Signed the Hate Crimes Prevention Act
  • Loaned billions of dollars to construct more Nuclear Power Plants
  • Gave $900 million in public school grants for failing schools to meet new standards
  • Brought the Affordable Care Act, which insured millions of Americans and brought popular consumer protections that are still defended today
  • Reversed Bush-era torture policies
  • Established Net Neutrality
  • Brought in many environmental protections
  • Signed an agreement with Russia to start decreasing nuclear stockpile
  • Brought a peace deal with Iran that was supported by the entire western world
  • Signed the Dodd-Frank bill in the wake of the 2008 crisis
  • Signs a new VA education bill to help veterans get education
  • Signed the extension of the Bush Tax Cuts
  • Repeals Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy about gays in the military. Allowing patriotic men and women to serve their country without hiding
  • Oversaw the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden
  • Signed bills that banned insider trading
  • Signs the Taxpayer Relief Act

The horror!!!!!!!! More money for education! Lower unemployment! Consumer Protections! Peace deals with Russia, Cuba, and Iran!!!!! Energy independence!!! GAYS CAN OPENLY SERVE THEIR COUNTRY!!!!! Saved the American auto industry!!!! Environmental protections oh my!!!!

Wait.... didn't he eliminate the 2nd Amendment? Didn't the streets turn to pure chaos? Didn't he ban churches and Christianity? Didn't he send out the police to confiscate all your guns? Didn't the radical left fully take over society? Oh wait, he didn't do any of those things and it was just conservative/Sean Hannity fear mongering and race baiting. I see.

I'm a Republican.

I'm still confused as to how Obama was the most divisive President in the history of the Republic. Why is he still being talked about? Genuine bewilderment here.

I thought he was fine. I voted for Romney in 2012 because I thought we were spending too much money.

I feel like the extremism started really ramping up during his presidency.
I feel like he was a snake oil salesman and that he phrased things to really pit the two parties against each other. The way he said things made it sound like if you don't agree with him, you are evil and a bigot.

I really only bring him up nowadays to point out changes that liberals want now and criticize Trump for when they weren't address with Obama when he had the chance.

That is politics though. I'm sure if Biden is elected, republicans will do that same thing. The difference will be that Obama and Biden weren't/won't be tied up in hoaxes taking up a lot of their time
