I would like to see us come out in a full court trap right out of the gate and push the temp really hard for the first few minutes of the game. I doubt NDSU has faced anyone with our athleticism/speed all season long. I would be interested to see how they respond considering (from what I have seen) they prefer a half-court offense.

I think we really need to jump on them quick and throw the first punch. The LAST thing I want to see is a start like we had vs. Baylor.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is picking against us. We are the 5 seed (other than cincy) that everyone has losing, so I think the guys will feel disrespected and come fired up, hopefully

I really like this... It kind of reminds me of Kruger's gameplan versus TCU in FT Worth... They pushed the tempo and made it extremely difficult for kyan Anderson to score the ball... I think you are right when you say they will have up the tempo, and they just can't match up with our athleticism and I will add our depth! Good call!

OU has looked decent in the press this year at times. I like the idea of getting NDSU speeding up and letting them make mistakes on their own - sort of forced unforced errors.

That said, I bet OU does not use full court pressure early. I think they will rely on their defense and push off makes and misses. I think OU can transition even on made baskets

I really hope they don't sit back and wait for misses against the best shooting team in the country. We really need to bring the fight to them. We have to set the tone. Our athleticism compared to theirs, is the biggest mismatch in this game. We need to exploit that. I want this game played in the 80s, not the 60s.

Running may prove difficult. I ready something earlier today that suggested NDST isn't very interested in going after offensive boards. If that is the case, it probably means they get back fairly well.

I will say this though. That comment was probably made incorrectly. If SDST slows the pace down, and shoots a high percentage, obviously they will have less offensive rebounds than teams that play faster and/or miss a higher percentage of shots. Rebounding stats are hard to compare for that very reason, unless you are looking at rebounding %, which I like more.
