Depth chart

Even if Woodard is as advertised, I am a little concerned that he might not be 100% on June 1st. If he starts out behind against Cousins, it might take him a good while to catch up.

True. I assumed he'd be healthy by then, but if not, edge goes to Cousins.

Guess I missed the news on the knee surgery. Hopefully after this he can get healthy, and stay healthy.

I tend to agree with those that have Cam Clark starting. He is the most experienced player on the team. He started two seasons and played a lot last year. I think he will start at either the 3 or 4 position. If he doesn't start, I think he gets starter minutes.

If he doesn't start and/or play lots of minutes, I think/hope that means OU has some pretty good players.

Orthoscopic surgery to clean up from what they think was caused from playing on the bad hammy. It is expected that he will be released from the doctor by June 1. But, once again, who knows.

My starting lineup to begin the season:

Cousins
Hornbeak
Hield
Clark
Spangler

If Woodard is healthy and Cousins has not wowed LK with his ball handling skills, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the freshman gets the starting nod. I could also see Bennett in the starting lineup and Cam coming off of the bench again. A lot will depend on how the players perform in practice, especially on defense.

This is all pure conjecture, of course. Any lineup we pick right now could change if our coaches decide to sign an impact transfer who would be eligible to play right away.

Why so many expect big things, especially early, from Woodard is beyond me. He is a nice role player type, but not a big difference maker.
