Did OU or the B12 sever espn3 contract?

Previously every OU basketball game was on espn3 no matter how pitiful the opponent. That has not been the case this season. Did something change contractually?

Not sure, but I did watch the Oral Roberts game on espn3 this year.

I would almost bet the SoonerSportsTV.com on FoxSports probably had more to do with severing ties with ESPiN3.

Most of games this year (out of state) have been on fox central.

That's obviously what happened. OU expanded their relationship with Fox Sport which supersedes ESPN3. Hopefully it's just these pre season games and goes back to normal once conference starts.

Or actually, based on what I have seen from most of our games, maybe not. lol

It's been better for me. Only one game so far not on TV. I hate using ESPN3, living out in the boonies with a DSL makes for crappy streaming.

Now I hardly ever get to see the Sooner games, unless it Fox Ohio picks it up, which it usually does not. Got to see many many games with ESPN 3.

yes every game is replay on SoonerSports.tv following the game and the quality on soonersports.tv is pretty good

The WVU game is on espn3! Looks like it was just the weenie non conference games switched to fox.

ESPN3 was fine if it wasn't available elsewhere, but there was a huge delay on watching it, at least 2-3 mins behind live

He may not have directv, in fact it sounds like he doesn't but that's just a guess.

If he does not, then living out of state, directv is a must if you want to follow OU sports. IMO.:woot

Are you talking about needing Direct TV to buy the ESPN Full Court college basketball package?

ESPN3 streams all those games free now and if you have an Apple TV & an iPhone/iPad with the watchESPN app you can mirror those streams to your HDTV for free.

No, I was talking about the Directv Sports Pack, which includes all the FOX channels, an NBC sports, cbs college sports, big 10 network, etc. It's what people like me, who live outside of Oklahoma/North Texas have to get in order to watch the FSOK channel for OU sports programming.
