Did you think this team would win 20 games this year?

I thought 17 wins would be a great year for this team.

The tread at season's start was this years' team would be better because the poison of last year, Trae, was gone.
The record is a bit better than last year.
Still a mystery why Lon couldn't have controlled the team last year and gotten better results.

I thought before the season a bubble team was all that could be expected. By late December it appeared the grad transfers were going to push this team to 20 wins easily but of course that was fools gold, my bad.

A lot of people probably felt that way (or at least me). Such a nice OOC. And a middling conference result. Disappointing. But an NCAA win helps a lot!

And just saying F Duke (even though it may mess up my bracket if they lose). Oh wait. It actually would help me a lot if they lose!

I don’t think I made a prediction, but I didn’t think they’d win 20. I thought maybe they’d win 16-18 games and miss the tourney.

Not really a mystery, IMO. At half against Virginia OU's six seniors - all of who played - scored exactly the same points as a dead man - ZERO.

A lot was expected from James, Odomes and Muni. As Coach Crutchfield said - excellent people, students and teammates, but their performance on the court never turned out as good, I believe, the coaches anticipated.

Trae was, and is a, transcendent talent and it is too bad OU didn't have some better players to surround him with during his short tenure in Crimson and Cream.
