Looks a little different now. We get Iowa State and a million of their fans. West Virginia gets TCU. Even if we win who do you think will be the most rested for Friday's game? Dang, too bad we are not in OKC this year. On the bright side, if we don't get by Iowa State, the rest will do us good. I wonder if a first round loss will hurt our seeding?

I give WVU credit because I thought Baylor would beat them last Saturday in Waco, and give OU the 2nd seed. I was wrong. Now they get a tired TCU team and we get a rested, tough ISU who has won this tournament the past 2 years.

We are a two seed no matter what. Our overall resume is the best of the prospective 2-seeds and borderline #1 seeds as of now. I don't see Oregon nor Utah jumping us....even if one of those teams were to win the Pac 12 tournament. The only threat from the Big 10 would be Indiana (longshot), but I don't see that happening either. Miami could sneak into a #2 seed with a good showing in the ACC tournament, but that wouldn't affect us. Simply stated, we are either the last #1 seed or the first #2 seed on the board. I don't see that changing much.

This game is a must win in my opinion, just to get momentum and confidence rolling. It's time to stamp out those conference tourney demons that have haunted us since Sampson left.

Nice work. It is tough to completely contradict yourself in a post in a matter of 4-5 sentences. That is talent.

I didn't contradict anything newbie. I simply explained how OU will not fall past a 2 seed despite everything that could go array around us. Sorry that you can't comprehend that....go back to the football board.

LOL, yeah, I wasn't quite sure of his logic...I understood your post perfectly, maybe I'm messed up..:facepalm

Newbie. Lol. I have been here since 2009, approximately 4 months after you. Either you don't understand what "no matter what" means or you have trouble expressing your thoughts.

In the context of the preceding posts, it was clear to many of us that he meant "We are at least a 2 seed, no matter what."

Thanks Sky...and you're right. I should have stated "at least a 2 seed no matter what"....especially for those who can't think cognitively on this board.:D

I think the "non-newbie" was just looking for something to argue about. Count me among every other reader of this thread who understood exactly what you meant. :ez-laugh:
