I just looked at his Twitter.

Followed OU basketball and the OBCA.

He picked up follows from Tad Glibert & Travis Meyer (lol, Tulsa meteorologist).

Former Big 12 head coach...

Paging ABD!

This would be an excellent hire imo. Great find as always, NAIA!

this would be an amazing mid season add to the coaching staff ..

Sorry, i'm kind of in the dark on why this is a great hire. Is he a great recruiter, brilliant X and O, competent chalk holder?

I remember him coaching Nebraska...

Doc Sadler is here tonight. Not on the bench but talking with Joe C.

I really wonder what happened with the shot doctor. It will bug me for a long time for some reason.

Interesting that Rothstein is reporting the hire as a "special advisor" when we have an AC opening, and Moser said he hopes to have a decision on the AC opening decision before the Florida trip.

Either way, good addition to fill an in-season opening.

I bet it's a short term deal through the end of the season. Perfect opportuinty for someone like Doc to come in for a few months and get to work with a team, then bail back out to retirement or head coaching.

Probably didn't want to hire another full time AC only to lose him at the end of the year.
