the girls are going to have to get it together if they're going to get an invite to the tourney. they blew the Louisville, texass, and iowa state games when all they had to do is hold on to a rebound. so they are 12-7 instead of 15-4. plus they can't count on sweeping Kansas and could easily be swept by Baylor and silo tech. to finish 9-9 in league play almost looks impossible, and that is probably the bottom line to get to the dance. still, sherri is the best coach, along with bill Snyder, that ever lived, and her girls have beaten the odds before, so who knows? in or out though, they are still really student athletes who are competing against some teams with less stringent academic policies. so I hope everyone loves the team for more than won-loss records.

I believe the girls may have turned an important corner with their win at Iowa State. They will go minimum 11-7 in Big XII play, and move on to the NCAA tournament, probably not the best seed we would like to see though.

I sure hope your right, but I sure don't see where they're coming from. Baylor is a for sure sweep. Kansas, silo tech most likely on the road. and home games besides Baylor include silo tech , Kansas, and w vir, all tough. I'd like to see kornet develop like jomac did. and they need to start shooting with a little confidence, and make a few layups(which they did against I state). sorry, get long winded about my beloved lady sooners. see first sentence.

I think it is fair to say that every win will be one to appreciate the rest of this year and we shouldn't take anyone for granted. If we continue to play as well as we did against ISU, no one can take us for granted either. The game tonight with TCU may tell us a lot about this team and the direction Sherri will take them offensively and defensively the rest of the year. I think we make the tourney but I have no idea about the seeding. Still a lot of basketball to play before we get to that point.

Sherri is certainly my favorite active coach. I would not trade her for another. The team has underachieved a little this year and I doubt there is any single factor one can attribute this to. The Iowa State, Gonzaga, and even Louisville game passes my eye test as a team that can compete with anyone. They are an easy bunch to cheer for.
