Does Capel get another year no matter what?

I think everyone needs to breathe. There was no way this team was going to be able to go to Maui and play 3 straight games w/ no time to prepare for any other game besides Kentucky w/o struggling.

Its obvious that this team isn't a NCAA Tourney team but they are going to win games when they have time to prepare. They play hard but they are too young and not enough scoring power to be able to play teams w/ no time to prepare for their opponent.


Capel should and I expect will be given another year. We have 3 guys coming in next year that will be immediate contributors and we also have 2 scholarships left to give.

Well he he signed a contract extension in 2008 that ran his current deal to 2014. In 2009 he signed a 7 year extension to that contract so it believe that would make it run to 2020. If that is the case i'm not sure we can fire him yet, depending on buy out clauses if there are any

I'm sorry but I'm tired of hearing the same pathetic excuses. "They didn't have time to prepare"...well every other team in Maui had exactly the same amount of time to prepare.

If this pace continues I don't see him returning.
