Let's look at the numbers.

Ford has signed two full recruiting class at OSU, 2009 and 2010, for a total of 11 players.

Exactly one of those 11 players (Torin Walker) has left the program.

Clearly all Ford does is sign guys and then "send them packing."

Since he has been there he has 'kicked off' Thomas, Adams, Akol, Kirkland, and Walker.

Not to mention..If Sidorakis didn't step up for Ford, someone else would be added to that list. Also, We haven't seen who is gone from this team. Rumors of Penn leaving is running right now.

Compared to Capel's 1st 3 years and Fords 1st 3??? Early, Neysmith, Maze, and Cannon.(thats not a bad group to have sent on their way) And Fords 3rd season isn't over w/...I'm sure someone else will be added to that group by the end of the year.

Either way...If it wasn't Sid getting it pulled, it would have been someone elses. In my eyes...Ford basically pulled a scholarship b/c it was going to happen b/c he over recruited.

I'm not going to lie, as long has he helps the kids find somewhere they can be successful, I don't really care if he pulls scholarships. College basketball is a buisness. If you hold on to players that won't put in the work or don't have the talent to win, then you will be looking for a new job.

Just ask Capel what having to many players like this will do for you. His entire fan base is calling for his head.

Why can't people be fans of both sports? Does some unknown rule exist that says you can only cheer for football or basketball but not both? I like baseball, softball, and wrestling, too. Not to mention Volleyball, soccer and every other sport. Does this mean I am in violation of this rule?

Go create your own board so nobody can respond and you won't have to worry about dissenting opinions. Heck, go to facebook and start playing the game that allows you to create your own college, college team, etc., and just pretend that's your team and hire Jeff Capel to be your coach and live the rest of your life in your little dream world.

I love OU football. Been going to games since I was a baby. The only sport that I really don't like is wrestling. It does nothing for me as a fan. Still happy when OU beats OSU in it though.

I'm sure mule can stick up for himself. He's had a long history of ripping on OU basketball. Saying that Davis and Crocker weren't Capel recruits is just stupid to me. Davis was absolutely a Capel recruit. Crocker was down in San Antonio and could have gone somewhere else very easily (just like the three I mentioned above). The only one in that class that wasn't going anywhere was Moose. He just didn't have a lot options at that point with his grades and attitude history...

As for facebook/college town/creating my own board: naw i'm not going anywhere. This board is run by great people and i've put too much into it myself. I think i'll stay around and keep posting my opinions. Thanks though "bro".

Back to Raney, I'd be interested to see what some of the insiders around here are saying about his dad. Is he still "Carl Henrying" the kid? I've heard that he sticks his nose into everything and that it could be an issue in the kid's recruitment. Is this still the case? Jennings? Parker? Sam?
